What is an inlingua class like?
From the very first class, you’ll practice the target language without relying on translation. The instructor guides the conversation, asks questions, creates real-life situations, and ensures that you’re actively engaged in your learning at all times. The focus is on speaking before writing.
How can I determine my level before I start?
We offer a free, no-obligation online placement test on our MY.INLINGUA platform. In just a few minutes, you’ll receive an accurate assessment of your language skills. Our advisors will then contact you to recommend the program that best suits your needs.
Which language exams can I prepare for and take at inlingua?
inlingua Léman is an authorized testing center for Cambridge, IELTS, Goethe Test Pro, FIDE, and inlingua tests. We provide both adult education preparation and the organization of these exam sessions at our centers in Geneva and Lausanne. In addition to these official certifications, we also prepare our clients for all language exams available on the market—whether they are French exams (DELF, DALF, TCF…), Italian (CILS, PLIDA…), Spanish (DELE…), or any other recognized certification—even when these exams are not held on our premises.

Available language levels

The language levels offered are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

  • A1 and A2 – beginner, covering the basics of everyday communication
  • B1 and B2 – independent, allowing for comfortable interaction in most common situations
  • C1 and C2 – proficient, corresponding to an advanced or even bilingual command of the language
