Methods and finalisation of personal data collection

Personal data is collected and compiled via the online forms and from your subsequent activity on our website. Your personal data is taken from the official contact forms and order forms. The data collected is used to follow up the enquiry, provide the requested information, create a contact file in our management system, and in order to manage our website (presentation and organisation).

Once you become a client, information is collected by the trainers and the administration staff at our centre, who therefore also have knowledge of all the elements of the data collected.

Utilisation of personal data

Comments, Inscription forms and Order forms

When you leave a comment on our website or use the inscription or order form, the data written on the form, your IP address and type of web browser is collected to help us detect unwanted comments or spam.

An anonymous chain created from your email address (known as hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you already use it? Confidentiality clauses for the Gravatar service are available on: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Cookies

This site uses cookies – small text files which are placed in your device to help provide a better service to the user. Cookies are mainly used to save user preferences, store information for items like shopping carts and provide anonymous tracking data to third-party applications like Google Analytics. As a general rule, cookies improve your browsing experience.

If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to leave your name, email address and website in the cookies. The aim is to improve quality so that you don’t have to fill out your details again if you want to make a comment at a later stage. Cookies expire after a year.

Statistics and audience tracking by Google Analytics

Our site uses Google Analytics, an analytical service for internet sites provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”. Data collected when using our services as a client

When you become a client, we naturally gather a lot of data concerning your activity, but always the strict minimum, just enough to guarantee you the necessary and most efficient follow up for your programme.

All our staff are trained, conscious and committed to respecting your private life and we guarantee you confidentiality of lesson content and objectives discussed during your courses and your tests. Only basic data related to attendance, absences, linguistic content as well as the level and progression can be given to the person, the authority, the organisation or employer that finances the tuition.

In addition and only with your explicit consent, will we use your data to send you information on our products and services (newsletter) as well as activities at the centre at regular intervals but no more than 4 times a year.

Duration of Data storage

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This facilitates recognition and automatic approval for additional comments instead of leaving them in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our site, we also keep personal information mentioned in their profile. All users may see, modify or delete their personal information at any moment (with the exception of their username). Website managers may also see and modify this information.

Once ordering a service or any other service or product, your data is kept in our management system indefinitely, depending on the type of data and according to the maximum time in line with current legislation.

Your rights on your data

If you have an account, left comments on our website or ordered a service or any other service or product, you can ask for a file containing all your personal information that we have on you as well as that which you have given us. This will not take into account data kept for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Transmission of personal data

Only comments by visitors can be verified with the help of the automated service for unwanted comments and your user behaviour on the website sent to Google for analysis

Moraine SA undertakes not to disclose, diffuse, sell or offer any personal data unless expressly requested in writing.

How we protect your data

Moraine SA ensures that the personal information that you have chosen or have been obliged to disclose to us as well as all data we own in relation with your use of our services (e.g. Lesson content, attendance etc.) will be protected and safeguarded to the best of its ability

The “processing” of personal information includes namely the usage, conservation, saving, transferring, adapting, analysing, modifying, reporting, sharing and destroying personal information while taking circumstances and legal requirements into consideration

Location where your personal information is stored

As Moraine SA has opted for a 100% cloud solution for its infrastructure, your data isn’t stored in our offices in Lausanne but in a redundant way at the Datacenter Equinix in Zurich. A security backup is also kept in the secured premises of our IT partner in the Canton of Soleure

Handling procedures for leaked data

If, in spite of all the security measures put in place, a leak or suspicion of a leak occurs, Moraine SA undertakes inform the people involved in writing without delay.

Moraine SA will pass on all the relevant information they have on the event in question to those concerned and which procedures to take to secure the compromised data.

Right of access, correction and deletion of data

You have the right to access your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to ask for corrections, updates or the deletion of your personal data. You also have the right to ask for information concerning your personal data kept by Moraine SA.
